Change System font to Windows Calibri

Hello XC's,

If you are not a geek OR, If you are a bit lazy then i think the following article is not for you !!! :-)

Lets start, make sure you have rooted.

1. download the package from following url  package.zip
2. extract the file, you will have following files in folder named "fonts"

3. copy the entire folder "fonts" in your xc using usb cable, or some other medium to some folder in SD card     or internal memory.. anything.......
4. open the root explorer (app like, es file explorer, root explorer...etc).
5. copy all files from "font" folder  (the one you downloaded and extacted), and paste it in "/system/fonts"           folder, you will need to navigate to  the root. This cannot be undone So make sure you take backup of         existing files in "/system/fonts".
6. after this sort the files by modified date in descending order (most root explorer apps have this feature),         By doing this the files you just pasted will be positioned at top.
7. change the permission settings of each file you pasted, see following image (this is important, other wise         you wont be able to see any character on screen after reboot)
 

    Step 1: click and hold pasted file, it will popup following options, select "Permissions".

   Step 2: GRANT read and write permissions to the owner as shown in below pic

 you will need to this for all files that you pasted....

Now take a deep breath and reboot the phone.....

your system font would be changed to that of windows calibri font, It worked for me so it should for you tooo..

Note : Whenever you have a rooted your phone, you should always have a backup to restore if incase your customization fails, you might brick your phone and the booting will end to an endless loop... I use CWM recovery....  Instal CWM recovery on XC
